Ex-Bengaluru top cop Bhaskar Rao to join AAP tomorrow


Former Bangalore Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao will likely be becoming a member of Aam Aadmi Occasion (AAP) in New Delhi on Monday. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia may even attend the occasion.

The senior IPS officer B Bhaskar Rao has not too long ago resigned from service. The Karnataka authorities has accepted the resignation of Rao, who till not too long ago served as Extra Director Basic of Police (ADGP), Railways. 

Rao, who had beforehand served as Bengaluru metropolis police commissioner, had submitted his resignation to the state authorities in September 2021. 

Rao would be the first candidate that the AAP will induct forward of the 2023 meeting polls in Karnataka.

He’s a local of Bengaluru, and his becoming a member of AAP comes because the occasion prepares to contest and make its presence felt within the state, throughout Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and 2023 meeting elections.
